Job Summary
Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods, ensuring all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations are followed. Operate conveyor belt systems to transport building materials from flatbed trucks to rooftops, accurately verifying and reconciling material orders. Facilitate the safe distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs while coordinating efficiently with drivers and team members. Work primarily outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting items up to 100 lbs, with potential for overtime during peak seasons. Forklift certification is preferred, and proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation for commuting
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English
- Safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA guidelines
