Job Summary
Loading and unloading roofing materials from delivery trucks and transporting them to rooftops on residential and commercial sites, using manual and mechanical methods. responsibilities include distributing materials onto flat and sloped roofs per safety guidelines, operating conveyor belt systems where trained, verifying material orders, and providing excellent service to roofing contractors. Must adhere to OSHA safety regulations, coordinate with drivers and team members, and work outdoors in varied weather while using PPE. Requires physical fitness, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, comfort with heights, and English proficiency; Spanish is a plus. Forklift certification preferred; background checks and drug test are required.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks, along with a pre-employment drug test
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
- Safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA guidelines
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with potential overtime
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 100 lbs and operate machinery
