Job Summary
Load and unload roofing materials from delivery trucks using manual and mechanical methods, then accurately verify and reconcile orders. Facilitate the safe distribution of materials onto flat and sloped roofs while operating conveyor belt systems where certified. Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols, ensuring all safety guidelines are followed during outdoor work on rooftops. Coordinate efficient loading and unloading processes with drivers and team members. This role requires physical fitness for lifting items up to 100 lbs and working at significant heights. Availability includes Monday through Friday with potential overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons. Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation for commuting
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Ability to pass criminal and driving background checks
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- Proficient in verbal and written communication in English
- Safety awareness with knowledge of OSHA guidelines
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Availability to work Monday through Friday with the potential for overtime based on delivery schedules and peak seasons
- High School Diploma or equivalent
