Job Summary
Inspect problem roofs, perform repairs, and execute preventative maintenance on low-slope roofing systems while strictly adhering to safety protocols. Drive a company vehicle daily to client sites, load/unload materials, and shovel debris in varied extreme weather conditions. Communicate clearly with clients during evaluations and recommendations, maintaining professional standards throughout the day. Complete tasks on time and respond to management direction with dependability. Requires a driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to travel out of town for up to four weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant roofing or construction experience, or military experience
- Driver's License
- 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to travel out of town, for up to 4 weeks at a time, when local work is not available
- Ability to communicate effectively through written correspondence and verbally in English
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day
- Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder from 10 to 40' in height
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold weather)
- Must be able to work overtime in emergency situations
- Weekend work as needed
