Job Summary
Conduct hands-on repairs, perform evaluations, and execute preventative maintenance on low-slope commercial roofing systems. Drive a company vehicle to client buildings daily while adhering to strict safety protocols. Provide repair recommendations and manage client communications through both verbal and written correspondence. Complete tasks on time and respond promptly to management direction. Requires valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders up to 40 feet, and work in extreme weather conditions including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Three (3) + years of experience in the commercial roofing industry or related relevant construction experience
- Basic knowledge of computers including Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Must have the ability to calculate figures and be able to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record to be cleared to drive a company vehicle
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to travel when local work is not available
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays in emergency situations
- Ability to communicate effectively through written correspondence and verbally in English
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time on a regular basis throughout the day
- Must be able to frequently ascend/descend ladder up to 40 feet
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
- Must be able to work in varied extreme weather condition (extreme hot and extreme cold weather)
- Must be able to load and unload material and equipment from variant heights
- Must be able to load material and equipment from vehicles on and off the roof
- Must be able to lift heavy objects by hand or with a host and clean work area
- Must be able to shovel loose materials such as gravel, sand metal snow, or dirt
