Job Summary
Roofing Sales Project Manager responsible for overseeing residential roofing projects from homeowner interaction through agreement execution and handoff to production. This field-based role blends customer service, project coordination, and sales to identify opportunities, conduct roof evaluations, present roofing solutions (insurance claims and retail), and secure signed proposals. Primary contact for customers with ongoing communication through the project timeline; includes likely door-to-door/outreach activities, lead/documentation, and collaboration with production teams. Training on roofing systems and insurance fundamentals provided; strong emphasis on building a sales pipeline, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving performance-based earnings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow established processes
- Self-directed and reliable in a performance-based environment
- Comfortable working in the field and building a pipeline through outreach
- Ability to safely climb ladders and access rooftops
- Prior experience in door-to-door, construction, or field sales is helpful but not required
- Ability to manage time independently
- Flexible availability; some travel may be required
- Proficiency with scheduling, documentation, and communication via smartphone
