Job Summary
Roofer role focused on installing, repairing, or replacing commercial roofing systems (four and/or single-ply) using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions on industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings. Responsibilities include installing/replacing TPO, EPDM, and PVC roofing systems, installing vapor barriers and insulation on flat roof decks, sealing seams, and cutting/nailing/stapling roofing paper to form bases for additional materials. Requires hands-on trade work with tools and adherence to safety practices; benefits and apprenticeship training provided to support career development.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with installing/repairing commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC)
- Ability to install vapor barriers and insulation on roof decks
- Cut roofing paper to size and secure with nails/staples
- Paid apprenticeship training or equivalent trades training
