Roofing Inspector

Review roofing applications for code compliance, perform inspections, and enforce roofing protocols. Document daily construction activities and interface with owner building officials, designers, and municipal, state, and federal government officials regarding building permits. Reject incomplete submittals and conduct inspections of construction foundations, alterations, repairs, remodeling, or demolition of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, and wood, as well as plumbing, heating, and electrical installations, to ensure adherence to the Florida Building Code and local amendments. Detect and rectify non-compliance situations. Requires a minimum of five years in construction, knowledge of the Florida Building Code, and a Standard Roofing Inspector License.
