Job Summary
Maintain industrial building roofs and execute new installations by removing debris, inspecting problem areas, setting up scaffolding, and operating equipment such as tar kettles and torch tools. Plan tasking and material selection from blueprints, ensuring all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and OSHA safety standards. Communicate directly with customers regarding unexpected repairs and follow up to confirm satisfaction. Perform duties requiring lifting up to 25 pounds, working at heights, and standing for extended periods. Requires a high school diploma, three years of roofing experience, and a valid driver's license with security clearance access.
Required Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years of roofing experience
- Carlisle Applicator Certification
- Must be familiar with the products and applications associated with the different types of roofing materials
- Must be able to work at heights
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time
- A valid state driver's license
- Ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance
- Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative
- Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access
- Satisfactory proof of U.S. citizenship
