Job Summary
Roofer Assistants support roofers in installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs. They assist with preparing materials and tools, cleaning work areas, removing old roofing materials, and maintaining safety. They may progress to more advanced roles and support lead roofers by following instructions and helping with roofing tasks across shingles, metal, and flat roofs. The role emphasizes assisting with site preparation, tool handling, and adherence to safety protocols while contributing to maintenance and installation activities. Required Qualifications
- Proven roofing or general construction experience
- Working knowledge of different roofing systems
- The ability to lift heavy materials and tools
