Job Summary
Server at Roof @ theWit in downtown Chicago delivers attentive food and beverage service in a fast-paced, high-energy setting. Responsibilities include presenting menus, taking and relaying guest orders, coordinating with the kitchen using the Micros POS, ensuring timely service, handling guest inquiries and requests, processing payments, and performing side work to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for locals, tourists, and business travelers. Requires 1+ year of food & beverage experience, Food Handler's Certification, strong communication skills, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a high-volume hotel restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's Certification
- Previous experience as a server, or similar front-of-house role
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of Micros POS system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
