Job Summary
Roof Field Inspector responsible for conducting on-site inspections of steep and high roofs, evaluating exterior and interior damage, and performing underwriting property inspections within Hancock Claims Consultants' independent contractor network. Must safely navigate and inspect various roof types, work in varied weather conditions, and deliver professional, customer-focused service. Emphasis on attention to detail, safety, and entrepreneurial spirit; roofing/construction or insurance claims experience is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include assessing roof conditions, documenting damage, and facilitating claims resolution under supervision of insurer partners.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable Truck, Van or SUV with ability to transport and carry at least a 32' ladder
- Lidar equipment device or ability to obtain one (e.g. iPad Pro/iPhone 12 Pro or greater)
- Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office applications including Outlook and Teams
- HAAG Certification is a plus
- Ability to get any required certifications or credentials to become part of contractor pool
