Job Summary
Deliver, pick up, load, and unload equipment at Vandalia Rental and customer sites while securing all loaded gear per company and legal requirements. Operate and demonstrate small and large equipment, including setting up and tearing down heaters and handling concrete blankets. Address customer concerns and questions directly during site visits. Maintain safe driving standards and excellent customer service while working Monday through Friday, returning home every night. Requires a Class A CDL, ability to lift 100 lbs., and proficiency with computer/tablet skills.
Required Qualifications
- CLASS A CDL with an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance
- Must be able to Stand for long periods of times, often all day
- Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Must be able to be exposed to and work in: air conditioned and non-air conditioned, inside/outside environments (including changing weather conditions,) occasional noise in excess of 100 decibels, dirt, grease, oil and other non-hazardous chemical encounters, all other elements presented by the day-to-day operations consistent with a construction/industrial equipment rental company
- Must have proficient computer/tablet skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, web-based applications, internet and email required
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods, often whole shift
- Climb as needed; in and out of trucks and on and off of trailers
- Must have a winning attitude and a desire to have fun!
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
