Roll Stand Operator

Job Summary
Diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime; read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic to isolate faults; perform preventative and corrective maintenance using a full range of hand/power tools and test equipment; collaborate with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures; document maintenance activities and recommend reliability improvements; maintain paper roll inventory on presses, set up splicer for continuous feed, participate in make-ready and hang plates, fill ink fountains and check conductivity, and enter required shop floor data into the computer; may handle hazardous waste as part of daily job functions; night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts (Front Half Days: Sun–Tue and every other Wednesday, 8a–8p) and shift premium; comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match, PTO and holidays; paid training and cross-training across electrical/mechanical systems with advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have some printing experience
- Minimum 1-year Press Room experience
- The ability to work 10-to-12-hour shifts
- High School Diploma or GED (PREFERRED)
