Job Summary
Roll Stand Operator on the night shift at Sheridan Brimfield (CJK Group). You will diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment, read electrical and mechanical drawings, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and collaborate with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures. The role involves setting up paper rolls, participating in make-ready and plate hang, filling ink fountains, and entering shop-floor data. Growth opportunities include paid training, cross-training across electrical/mechanical systems and PLC exposure, with a focus on reliability improvements and advancement within a safety-conscious maintenance team. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Some printing experience
- Minimum 1-year Press Room experience
- Ability to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions
- Must have some printing experience
- The ability to work 10-to-12-hour shifts
