Job Summary
Roll Stand Operator role on a night-shift-based maintenance team responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment. Reads electrical/mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic; performs preventative and corrective maintenance using a full toolset; collaborates with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures. Involves setting up splicers for continuous feed, participating in make-ready and plate hanging, filling ink fountains, and entering shop-floor data. May handle hazardous waste; expects 12-hour shifts with night-shift premium and overtime potential, plus paid training, cross-training across electrical/mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, and PLC exposure; offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-year Press Room experience
- Some printing experience
- Ability to interpret and utilize various units of measure and their conversions
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal
