Job Summary
Review requestor information to determine records for release in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, obtaining pertinent patient data from electronic, off-site, or physical sources. Answer phone calls regarding ROI issues, respond to walk-in customers by logging information into the ROI On-Line database, and process requests from physician offices on a priority basis. Scan and log medical record requests into the ROI On-Line database while handling cash payments at specified sites. Comply with site facility policies and regulations. Requires a driver's license, ability to travel between facilities, and proficiency with computer applications.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years experience entering data into computer systems
- Experience using the internet
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success responding to customer inquiries
- Demonstrated success working in an environment that requires attention to detail
- Proven track record of dependability
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to travel between facilities
- Driver's License

- Prior work experience in Release of Information
