Job Summary
Conduct general climbing instruction and guidance in a safety-focused environment, explaining and demonstrating correct usage of equipment and facility features. Monitor the climbing area to ensure safety procedures are adhered to by climbers and spectators while assisting with leading rock climbing classes, events, and Open Wall sessions. Maintain member files and waiver forms, and keep the climbing area clean. Requires High School Degree, ability to scale the wall and lift 20 lbs, plus First Aid and CPR/AED certifications. Full-time role at Life Time, a comprehensive ecosystem of 160 athletic country clubs dedicated to empowering everyone to live a healthy, happy life.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structure
- Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
- First Aid certification
- Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
- Complete Life Time On-Demand Learning Requirements (Kids and Rock Wall)
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of climbing experience
- Belay certification
