Job Summary
Operate rubber-tired rock trucks equipped with hydraulically powered beds to transport and dump material at Hazleton Quarry. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, fill out inspection sheets, and execute routine maintenance including lubricating and cleaning. Move levers to raise and tilt the truck bed, drive safely to achieve production goals, and assist with maintenance as needed. Work a second shift schedule while adhering to MSHA and H&K safety policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Able and willing to work a 2nd shift schedule
- Problem solving
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
- Pre-employment Physical
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ months related experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience working in a quarry, heavy civil construction, or other outdoor industrial setting
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification
