Job Summary
Technical Product Specialist, Screening Solutions at Sandvik Rock Processing North America, serving as the technical authority for screening equipment and applications across North America. Primary responsibilities include identifying customer requirements and opportunities for product improvement, collaborating with sales, service, and product teams, delivering training and technical support for Sandvik screening equipment, supporting capital equipment and aftermarket growth, maintaining accurate installed-base information, and developing opportunities through field observations and customer interactions. Requires strong mineral processing knowledge, proven communication and relationship-building with operators, maintenance teams, engineers, plant managers, and procurement teams, and the ability to travel up to ~50% across North America. This role supports capital equipment sales, aftermarket growth, and product strategy, and involves coordinating with regional leadership, CRM updates, and technical documentation, while adhering to health and safety policies and contributing to continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mineral processing, aggregates processing, screening operations, process engineering, product support, technical sales support, or related technical roles
- Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Strong technical communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- Ability to travel extensively throughout North America, approximately 50% of the time
