Job Summary
Conduct safe pickups and deliveries of rock drills, components, tools, and documentation between customer mine sites, the Elko branch, and approved locations while complying with DOT, site, and EHS requirements. Coordinate logistics with warehouse, field service, and workshop personnel to ensure efficient routing and meet customer commitments. Collect and transfer required paperwork including serial numbers, hours, and photos to support repair tracking and invoicing. Resolve routine site-level concerns through negotiation and escalate technical or commercial issues as needed. Maintain vehicle, load securement equipment, and delivery records; complete inspections and maintenance notifications accurately. Support ad hoc parts deliveries during periods of low exchange activity.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain customer site access
- MSHA/site-specific training
- DOT/medical certification if required by assigned vehicle or route
- Company-required EHS training
- Legal right to work in the United States on an indefinite basis without employer sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving, delivery, logistics, warehouse, field service, mining, industrial, or customer-facing experience
- Strong customer-service mindset with excellent communication, professionalism, follow-through, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to negotiate routine logistics details with customers while maintaining professionalism and knowing when to escalate commercial or technical issues
- Knowledge of mining site expectations, customer access requirements, load securement, safe driving practices, and material handling
- Experience with rock drills, components, parts delivery, Maximo, CRM, service coordination, or workshop documentation
