Job Summary
Follow all company rules for food safety and employee safety while performing repetitive hand and wrist motions in a refrigerated environment averaging 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Operate a forklift consistent with company standards and use a computer to complete job-related paperwork. Lift, push, pull, twist, bend, kneel, squat, and climb as necessary to complete tasks requiring 50+ lbs of force. Work weekends with specific schedules determined during the interview process. This production laborer role supports the manufacturing of Hormel® bacon, microwaveable meals, and deli hams at the Rochelle, IL facility.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Weekend work is required
- The ability to read and write to complete job related paperwork
- The willingness & ability to drive a forklift consistent with company standards
- The ability to use a computer to complete job related tasks
- The ability to lift/push/pull 50+lbs as required throughout the course of a shift
- The ability to twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job related tasks
- The ability to kneel/squat/climb as necessary to complete job related tasks
- The ability to perform grasping & pinching motions to complete job related tasks
