Job Summary
Conduct audits and inspections including label verification, random on-line quality checks, weight control, and housekeeping while monitoring food safety and good manufacturing procedures. Perform monthly GMP audits, pre-op inspections, and complete associated paperwork. Stand at workstations, follow strict sanitation and safety protocols, and work varying shifts including weekends and mandatory overtime. Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer
- No employer sponsorship for a work visa required now or in the future
- Willing and capable of standing in one spot on a work stand or at a workstation except during breaks and lunches
- Willing and capable of working on short notice
- Willing and capable of working 8-12 hours a day
- Willing and capable of working several days in a row
- Willing and capable of mandatory overtime throughout the week and weekend
- Willing and capable of working a day, evening, third, and/or weekend shift
- Willing and capable of working in average temperatures of 35-45 degrees or less
- Willing and capable of working with different types of raw, chilled, processed, or ready-to-eat meats
- Willing and capable of following strict sanitation requirements including wearing hair nets, beard nets, washing hands frequently, and no jewelry, nail polish, or fake nails
- Willing and capable of following strict safety requirements including wearing a hard hat, ear and eye protection, vinyl gloves, and hand/foot protection
- Willing and capable of practicing safe working procedures in accordance with safety policies of Rochelle Foods LLC
- Quality Control experience
- Detailed-oriented and proven record of success as QC auditor
- Basic Computer Skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Flexibility to work different days and shifts as needed to cover employees on vacations and leaves
