Job Summary
ROC Engineer role based in Bellshill, UK, delivering remote services from the Remote Operations Centre. Responsibilities include remotely managing and optimizing HVAC assets via BMS platforms (TREND, Siemens, Tridium, WEMS, Schneider), monitoring building performance for efficiency and reliability, coordinating with local engineers and client operations teams to resolve issues, developing software control strategies, diagnosing faults across client estates, investigating energy consumption alarms, identifying opportunities to reduce energy usage, and maintaining thorough records of activities and outcomes. The role emphasizes improving energy efficiency, building performance, and customer experience within a remote-operational setting.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in building operations, facilities management, building controls, or IT networking.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation, and energy management principles.
- Experience using Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Relevant HNC, HND, or equivalent engineering qualification.
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
