Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems, end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, and automated work cells while diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues. Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic programming adjustments within defined parameters to support system performance and reliability. Conduct testing to verify automation function, monitor production efficiency, and assist engineering with system setup and integration. Respond to downtime for rapid issue resolution and collaborate with production and maintenance teams on equipment startups and changeovers. Follow all safety policies, including lockout/tagout, and maintain documentation of system changes and maintenance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Industrial Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2-5 years of experience in robotics, automation, or industrial maintenance
- Experience with industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, Yaskawa, ABB, Universal Robots)
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as required to safely perform job duties
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Experience in plastics manufacturing or similar industrial environment
- Familiarity with vision systems and automated inspection equipment
