Job Summary

Build custom robotic cells, integrate motion control systems, and fabricate end-of-arm tooling for diverse production environments. Install and configure robotic software, create programs using teach pendants and offline tools, and validate functionality before client implementation. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain robotic systems during development and post-installation support while providing remote technical assistance to clients. Collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors on troubleshooting, innovation, and implementation planning. Maintain shop organization and conduct research to select optimal components for integrated automation systems. Advise management on product performance and improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Industrial Automation and Systems Integration experience, including implementation and evaluation
  • Professional experience with 3D scanners
  • Prior work experience in motion control systems including servo motors, stepper motors, sensors, switches, power distribution, and electrical
  • Experience building complex systems, such as industrial automated systems
  • Testing, troubleshooting, and validation experience at company work site, remotely, or at client work site
  • Demonstrable mechanical and electrical aptitude, including proficiency with hand tools, measuring tools, and precision instruments
  • Familiar with Localization as it relates to Robotics
  • Accustomed to creating and documenting tests and experience working in a test-driven environment
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • General knowledge of Windows OS and Linux
  • Associate's Degree in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or related degree
  • A valid and current driver's license
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Currently legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship from ARIS Technology

  • Travel Required: 35%

Desired Qualifications

  • Collaborative robot (cobot) experience
  • Robotics software experience: Fanuc, Yaskawa, UR, ABB
  • Ability to evaluate and propose mechanical, electrical, and automation components for integrated robotic systems
  • Experience documenting test results, communicating findings, and recommending product or process improvements
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience working in a start-up and/or matrix environment
