Job Summary
Define and lead enterprise technical strategy for robotics and ASRS, establishing reference architectures and interface standards across sites and vendors. Lead end-to-end system integration spanning PLC/HMI, safety systems, and WMS/WES/WCS/EMS platforms while driving OT/IT architecture decisions on industrial networking and cybersecurity. Oversee commissioning and qualification activities including FAT, SAT, and integrated testing to meet operational KPIs, and lead complex issue resolution with root cause analysis. Provide technical oversight of OEMs and integrators to influence scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring functional safety, compliance, and risk management. Drive program planning, resource forecasting, and technical risk mitigation to ensure successful handover to operations with standards and sustainment models.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Senior automation engineering professional with 10+ years of experience in robotics/ASRS systems within manufacturing and distribution environments
- Recognized technical authority in system architecture, controls/software standards, and OT/IT integration
- Proven leader in multi-vendor project delivery, including design, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and system turnover
- Expert in troubleshooting complex cross-functional issues and driving root cause resolution with preventive actions
- Strong track record of delivering performance outcomes and effectively collaborating with stakeholders while mentoring teams
