Job Summary
Robotics Software Integration Engineer responsible for end-to-end PR lifecycle and integration of Level 4 autonomous technology in Germany. Duties include guiding technical PR reviews for sensor interfaces, ROS2 packages, and middleware integrations; managing branching, releases, and repository hygiene; monitoring build pipelines and supporting Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure; identifying interface mismatches and dependency issues; applying expertise in hardware-facing software, communication stacks, and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and cross-functional coordination.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments
- Solid development skills in C++ within Linux environments
- Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows
- Deep familiarity with Git-based development, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems
- Strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces)
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional robotics software or embedded software experience
- Experience with ROS2 and robotics software integration workflows
- Proficiency in C++ within Linux environments
- Strong Git-based development practices and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with PR reviews and release management
