Job Summary
Track the entire PR lifecycle, conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces and ROS2 packages, and maintain branching strategy compliance to ensure repository hygiene. Monitor build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and coordinate quick fixes while supporting Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure. Proactively identify interface mismatches and untangle dependency issues to eliminate integration blockers across multi-functional teams. Apply understanding of hardware-facing software and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and coordination. This role supports the development of Europe's first certifiable Level 4 autonomous system in Germany.
Required Qualifications
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments
- Solid development skills in C++ within Linux environments
- Practical, hands-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows
- Deep familiarity with Git-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems
- A strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces)
Desired Qualifications
- exposure to C or scripting languages
- Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, UART)
- Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS
- Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi-team or cross-functional environments
