Job Summary
Robotics Setter Technician needed to set up robotic/ automated welding machines, support initial start-up/implementation, and perform basic maintenance. Responsibilities include creating robot, service/handling, and welding programs with welding sequences and parameters; analyzing macro section reports, scrap, and welding procedures; optimizing programs and processes based on analysis; monitoring production cells and peripherals; ensuring proper equipment settings; collaborating with fixture construction on new devices; supporting start-ups, feasibility studies, and process definition. Requires several years of setter experience in manufacturing (metal processing/welding advantageous), completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or toolmaker, proficiency with MS Office and English preferred, reliable transportation, and ability to pass drug/background checks. Strong initiative, independence, teamwork, flexibility, and a professional, friendly demeanor are essential.
