Job Summary
Set up robotic and automated welding machines, support initial start-ups, and perform basic maintenance on production units. Create robot, service, and welding programs by setting sequences and parameters, then analyze macro reports, scrap, welding procedures, and cycle times to optimize processes. Monitor production cells for equipment status and ensure all settings and peripherals remain in the desired state. Collaborate with fixture construction teams on new devices, welding accessibility, and part fit. Support program teams during feasibility studies and process definition.
Required Qualifications
- Several years of working experience as a setter
- Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic or toolmaker
- Must have own reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Desired Qualifications
- Manufacturing industry (at best metal processing/welding), also/or knowledge of setting/operating automated production machinery
- MS Office - and English skills
