Job Summary
Robotics Service & Integration Technician role focused on hands-on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Kawasaki and cobot robotic systems. Responsibilities include wiring control systems, sensors, safety devices; installing robot cells, fencing, and automation hardware; assembling and positioning robot cell components from drawings; supporting robot commissioning and startup using teach pendants; troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control issues; supporting custom fabrication, prototype assembly, and deployment activities; traveling to customer sites in British Columbia and occasional USA travel; collaborating with engineers, customers, suppliers, and fabrication teams; and maintaining safe working practices. Desired skills include experience with industrial robots/automation, reading wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings, use of hand/power tools, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Requires valid driver’s license and passport, ability to travel, and willingness to work at customer sites in Delta, BC.
