Job Summary
Design, develop, and implement scalable robotic process automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, creating reusable workflows and components to enhance operational efficiency. Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, map end-to-end processes, and assess feasibility while documenting technical requirements. Build and maintain API integrations between enterprise applications and automation platforms, ensuring compliance with security standards and development best practices. Monitor existing automations, troubleshoot performance issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives based on changing business needs. Establish KPIs and reporting metrics to measure automation effectiveness and demonstrate business value.
Required Qualifications
- Current work authorization for Canada
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Experience delivering multiple end-to-end automation projects from design through deployment
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders and managing requirements with minimal supervision
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate Cloud and Desktop
- Strong programming experience with C#, Visual Basic (.NET), SQL, and relational databases
- Experience developing and consuming APIs and web services
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and solution architecture
- Experience creating reusable automation frameworks and components
- Ability to identify automation and process re-engineering opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value and outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text Analytics, or Intelligent Document Processing solutions
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Experience in process engineering, business process improvement, or business analysis
- Knowledge of infrastructure and architecture supporting enterprise RPA platforms
- Experience implementing automation governance and operational frameworks
- RPA Developer certification (Microsoft, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent)
