Job Summary
The Robotics Instructor is responsible for supervising students and delivering robotics, coding and technology instruction; creating a safe, fun learning environment; implementing daily robotics/coding/tech instruction for students aged 4–18 with varying abilities; teaching fundamental robotics and programming; supervising groups with attention to behavior, health, safety, security, and skill development; organizing daily plans; utilizing effective classroom management; collaborating with fellow Activity Specialists; adhering to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values; traveling as needed and maintaining safety and engagement of students and staff.
Required Qualifications
- A Minimum of 2 years of previous experience working with children; examples include but are not limited to: academic/athletic tutoring, camp counselor, and youth volunteer.
- Robotics, programming & coding instructor/teaching experience (1 – 5 years minimum) required.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
- Child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required.
