Job Summary
Robotics for Kids Instructor needed to deliver robotics, coding and technology instruction to students aged 4-18 in after-school and related programs. Responsibilities include supervising groups, creating and implementing daily robotics/coding lessons, teaching fundamental robotics concepts, promoting skill development, ensuring student and staff safety, organizing plans in a fun, engaging way, and collaborating with fellow Activity Specialists. The role requires a high-energy, positive approach, strong communication with students and their families, and adherence to the Impact Kids Code of Conduct and Core Values. Must be willing to travel and undergo background checks; 2+ years of experience with children and 1–5 years of robotics/coding teaching are required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children
- Robotics, programming & coding instructor/teaching experience (1 – 5 years minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
- Ability to travel
- Excellent communication skills with children and parents
- Ability to implement curriculum
- A Child abuse clearance and criminal checks are required
