Job Summary
The Robotics Field Service Engineer is responsible for diagnosing, restoring, and maintaining robotic manufacturing cells in production environments. Key responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance, providing hands-on support to customer teams, logging service activity, and monitoring system performance remotely. Ideal candidates have over three years of experience in field service for robotic systems, strong troubleshooting abilities, and familiarity with electrical schematics and CMMS systems.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on field service experience supporting robotic or industrial automation systems
- Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, PLC, or robotic control systems
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic drawings
- Experience using CMMS platforms to track and report maintenance activity
- Clear written and verbal communicator capable of producing structured service documentation
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and disciplined field execution
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with 6-axis robot brands such as Fanuc, KUKA, Yaskawa, ABB, or Universal Robots
- Familiarity with palletizing, case packing, pick-and-place, or conveyor systems
- Experience in food, beverage, packaging, CPG, or other high-speed manufacturing environments
- Prior customer-facing field experience
- Spanish language proficiency
