Job Summary
Develop, test, and deploy software for robotic systems focusing on motion planning, perception, and control. Design algorithms for path planning, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance, while implementing advanced software for sensor fusion, localization, and mapping. Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate robotic arms, grippers, and sensors using middleware platforms like ROS 2. Optimize system performance for real-time operation in production environments and troubleshoot issues across software and hardware to ensure robust execution. Research and implement state-of-the-art methods, including machine learning techniques for task execution. Requires 3+ years of experience in robotic systems, proficiency in Python and C++, and familiarity with ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments. Involves over 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in developing robotic systems or automation platforms
- Solid experience with ROS 2, Gazebo, and simulation environments
- Experience working with perception systems like cameras, LiDAR, or depth sensors
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++
- Familiarity with robotic manipulators, vision systems, and motion control systems
- Knowledge of kinematics, dynamics, and system modeling
- Willingness to travel: > 50%
