Job Summary
Conduct design, assembly, and testing of robotic systems, including robots, end effectors, machine vision, welding, and control systems. Assist with technical inquiries and proposal development by gathering data and supporting bill of materials (BOMs). Collaborate on system integration and simulations using CAD and robotic software tools while contributing to lab testing, prototype development, and system commissioning. Prepare technical documentation and partner with internal teams to support product improvements and customer solutions. Work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm in Huntley, IL. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with 1–2 years of experience in robotics or automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
- Foundational knowledge of robotic systems and basic programming or controls concepts
- Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) and motion control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on, team-oriented approach
- Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm in Huntley, IL
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
