Job Summary

Configure and test electromechanical devices in preparation for full robotic cell qualification, collaborating with electricians and assembly teams to diagnose and resolve issues during configuration and testing phases. Execute test protocols using internal software to ensure full traceability and quality, while managing the organization and documentation of tested devices and materials. Support the software integration of new devices and peripherals, actively participating in all stages of robotic cell qualification from setup through final execution. This role requires advanced proficiency in Python, Linux/Windows, and Git, along with hands-on robotics experience and the ability to read electrical schematics. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, GMP environment. Required Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Linux and Windows; confident use of the terminal and development tools
  • Git (daily use in a team environment)
  • hands-on experience with industrial or collaborative robots, or a strong theoretical foundation in kinematics, dynamics, and control
  • strong manual dexterity and ability to work physically with complex electromechanical systems
  • empirical approach, comfort with experimentation, and ability to find solutions in the field
  • ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and product documentation
  • autonomy, proactivity, and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to clearly communicate technical ideas and schedule risks to distributed, international teams
  • English B2+ (written and spoken for technical documentation and US team communication)
  • Italian C2 (Native/Bilingual proficiency)
  • valid driver's license (A/B), own vehicle required

Desired Qualifications

  • MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field
  • PhD in Robotics or Autonomous Systems
  • Experience in regulated environments (GMP, ISO 13485, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with ROS or control frameworks for collaborative robots
