Job Summary
Operate robotic welding machines to finish weld assemblies, select and position jigs and fixtures, prepare metal surfaces with grinders/cutters/drills, and read basic blueprints. Perform welder setup procedures and routine preventative maintenance to ensure quality fabrication of metal products. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work overtime as needed. Two shifts are available (5:00am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-12:00am) under a climate-controlled facility with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school
- three to six months related experience and/or training
- Must be able to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a robotic welder to exact positions
- Physically, must be able to lift up to 50lbs., bend, squat, twist, and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime
- Prompt and reliable attendance required
