Job Summary
Operate robotic welding cells to fabricate stainless steel components, load/unload parts, monitor weld quality, perform basic machine adjustments, and conduct visual inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards. Maintain production and quality records, perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance, change welding consumables as needed, assist with fixture setup and part changeovers, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity. Follow all safety policies and 5S standards; work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise and varying temperatures. Primary focus on executing welding operations per work instructions and production schedules while ensuring weld quality and equipment performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred
- Ability to read work instructions/drawings
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Experience with inspection tools (calipers, gauges, tape measures) preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
