Job Summary
Produce weldments to quality and efficiency standards by reading prints, determining specifications, and accurately completing required functions. Operate robotic weld cells, including basic programming, fault clearing, troubleshooting, and training new employees on robots. Assist maintenance and programmers to troubleshoot errors and contribute ideas for continuous process improvement in weld cells. Perform repetitive lifting and placing of metal work pieces into fixtures and remove completed assemblies with lift devices. Maintain good attendance and comply with all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent courses in welding operations (manual and/or robotic) with a Level II Certification
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing environment with manual or robotic weld operation and set-up
- Basic to intermediate math skills to analyze information and measuring equipment
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Ability to train others
