Job Summary
Program robots to weld new jobs on multi-arm robotic cells and setup, maintain, and drive continuous improvements for 13 Fanuc and 3 Motoman work centers. Set welding parameters to ensure quality specifications, read blueprints, and troubleshoot weld issues while monitoring hourly production quotas. Assure ISO quality policies and safety procedures are followed during operations. Requires 3-5 years of experience with complex weldments, GMAW knowledge, and seam tracking skills. Based in Ohio, this role supports the OEM trailer component manufacturing division of Buyers Products Company.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience writing and tracing programs on complex weldments
- knowledge of seam tracking and touch sensing
- Sound understanding of the GMAW welding process
- Experience maintaining goose neck and tool center-point calibration standards
- Be able to troubleshoot weld quality issues
Desired Qualifications
- Certification or some formal coursework is preferred but not required
