Job Summary
Robotic Programmer to support development, programming, and integration of automated robotic systems across welding, material handling, and assembly applications. Responsibilities include programming and implementing robotic systems per customer specs, coordinating front-end reviews, offline and online robot programming, collaborating with Controls and Application Engineers to ensure full system functionality, supporting integration, start-up, debugging, and customer acceptance, assisting with customer training and on-site commissioning, optimizing robot paths to improve cycle time and throughput, installing and configuring hardware/software within automation systems, maintaining quality and driving continuous improvement, owning projects with timelines and budgets, and traveling as required for project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with robotic programming within industrial automation environments
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as welding, material handling, or assembly
- Ability to read and interpret weld symbols and technical documentation
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems and integration workflows (highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with system start-up, debugging, and commissioning
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a plant floor environment
- Comfortable working with Windows-based systems and general PC tools
- Ability to operate industrial equipment such as fork trucks and overhead cranes (or willingness to learn)
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Willingness to travel as needed for project support
