Job Summary
Responsible for collaborating with all teams, programming industrial robots both offline and online, developing weld processes specific to customer parts, setting up and executing engineered systems to meet or exceed company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with GMAW
- 6+ years of experience programming ABB and/or Fanuc robots for industrial automated welding
- Able to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints
- Able to read and interpret weld symbols
- Proficient with CAD/Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Associates degree (preferred)
- SolidWorks (preferred)
- Electrical troubleshooting (plus)
- Experience in heavy welding/TIG/plasma cutting (plus)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in a technical or industrial field
- Basic SolidWorks skills
- Experience with Electrical troubleshooting skills a plus
- Experience in heavy welding, TIG welding, and/or Plasma cutting
- Six Sigma project activities
- Associate’s degree in a technical or industrial field
- Skilled in CAD tools (SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office
