Job Summary
Operate and monitor robotic grinding systems and automated finishing cells to clean, deburr, and profile castings according to production standards. Perform setup and calibration of robotic cells, including tool offsets, wheel changes, and fixture alignment, while inspecting parts to verify removal of gates, risers, and excess material. Make minor program adjustments to robotic paths, feed rates, or pressure settings and conduct routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning dust collectors and changing grinding wheels. Record production data, downtime, and inspection results accurately while maintaining safe working practices in accordance with OSHA standards. Full-time hourly position with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent manufacturing/ foundry experience
- Math skills
- Computer skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to maintain safe working practices in accordance with all OSHA and company safety standards
- Ability to perform lockout/tagout
- Ability to wear PPE
- Capability to work at Medium Physical Demand Level (PDL)
