Job Summary
Create work orders by picking and allocating material by part number, lot, and quantity to provide kitted work orders to manufacturing. Close work orders in the appropriate warehouse and transfer inventory within the facility. Ensure stock accuracy on all control software, produce material paperwork, and present kit lists to the shop floor. Support the Planning department to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets while conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliation activities. Adhere to all work instructions, visual aids, and standard operating procedures, including the five principles of Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain. Hold manufacturing accountable for additional inventory requests and document transactions as required.
Required Qualifications
- Inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
- Comfortable and proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with computer-based warehouse management systems
- Ability to work as part of a team but take ownership of individual tasks
- Self-starter who works with the appropriate level of urgency
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
