Job Summary
Lead the robot welding department by serving as person in charge when the manager is unavailable, managing production planning and scheduling to meet internal and external customer expectations. Train and evaluate new employees, write work instructions, and pull parts proactively from other departments to maintain flow. Troubleshoot PLC controls, drive process improvements, and delegate tasks effectively while supporting HR functions. Adhere to all Technique QMS requirements and standards. This role requires advanced PLC and GD&T proficiency and is located at our Jackson, Michigan facility.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced understanding of PLC controls and processes to find faults, with the ability to change out control terminal relays
- Advanced GD&T understanding
- Ability to utilize E2 to find information for builds and process flow
- Ability to train, evaluate, and lead employees in the department
- Ability to support several tasks at the same time and delegate tasks effectively
