Job Summary
Robot Service & Support Engineer to deploy, operate, and repair robotic systems; perform on-site and in-house repairs including motors, sensors, cabling, and structural components; participate in intensive training programs; diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and software issues; create and update service notes and FAQs; shadow senior engineers during site visits and collaborate with Manufacturing and R&D; manage the service kit and diagnostic equipment; travel to customer sites across the U.S. to install, commission, and support robotic systems; strong communication to explain technical concepts to non-technical users; programming experience in Python, C++, or PLC logic; willingness to travel for hands-on service and commissioning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a technical, or robotics-related service and support role
- Familiarity with basic electrical circuits, hand tools, and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, or PLC logic)
- Travel willingness to customer sites locally and throughout the U.S.
