Job Summary
Atomized role at Roaring River Feed Mill seeking a 1st Shift PART-TIME Ingredient Receiver Rail Operator. Responsibilities include operating locomotive/trackmobile to move rail cars, supervising track switching and railcar coupling, handling switches and hand brakes, inspecting track conditions, recording data/dispatch, operating scales and documenting ingredients, unloading feed ingredients, performing quality analysis, lifting and using hand tools, and performing light maintenance while complying with safety and biosecurity guidelines; candidate must be able to work the specified shift, be able to lift up to 60 lbs (up to 100 with assistance), and work in varying environmental conditions. Relates to Tyson Foods operations with emphasis on safety, data accuracy, and teamwork; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have 6 months work history in last 12 months
- Ability to operate locomotive/trackmobile
- Ability to coordinate switching and coupling railcars
- Ability to read labels and recipes
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
- Ability to work in hot, dusty, wet, cold environments
